Bahamas Locomotive Society
Welcome to the website of the Bahamas Locomotive Society. Follow the links to the Museum to learn more of our locomotives and other objects in our collection .
The Bahamas Locomotive Society is based at Ingrow on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway in Yorkshire. Here we have created our own Museum and Workshop facility – the Ingrow Loco Museum - housed in the former Midland Railway goods warehouse adjacent to Ingrow West station.
… is the ENGINE SHED at RAIL STORY, Ingrow. It is home to our collection of locomotives and interpretive exhibition of aspects of railway history, primarily the steam locomotive.
The Museum exhibition has been created and produced entirely by our own volunteer members.
It is open for visitors every day, other than Christmas Day. A modest entrance fee is charged.
The Workshop provides the facilities necessary for the maintenance and overhaul of our locomotives and rolling stock.
