IN ADDITION THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ACCESS TO THE HAWORTH YARD EITHER. THIS APPLIES TO ALL BLS MEMBERS AS WELL AS THE VCT AND KWVR WORKING MEMBERS THE REASON FOR THIS IS TO PROTECT YOUR OWN SAFETY.
SOME KWVR MEMBERS WILL BE USING THEIR ALLOWED RECREATIONAL OUTDOOR EXERCISE TO WALK THE RAILWAY TO CHECK SECURITY. ALL WORKS ON THE INGROW BRIDGE RENEWAQL HAVE NOW CEASED..
“It is with great regret and after much thought and discussion, in view of Government advice on the Coronavirus spread, I have decided that there is no alternative other than to announce that our Museum is now closed as of Thursday 19th March until further notice as obviously our main objective must be to keep both our visitors, members and our staff safe.
Ours is a small museum with confined space and although much loved by our visitors to close has really been our only option.
In addition Bahamas will not be undertaking any main line tours for the foreseeable future. We will keep everyone updated through our social media and other outlets.”
